About Quartz Countertops

Quartz is an engineered stone made by combining roughly 90% natural quartz crystals with resins and pigments, then compressed under heat to form a dense, uniform slab. Unlike natural stone, quartz offers consistent color and pattern across every slab, along with a wide range of design options from clean solids to marble-look veining. Its non-porous surface resists stains, bacteria, and scratches without the need for regular sealing, making it a low-maintenance choice for busy households. While highly durable, quartz is less heat-tolerant than natural stone and can discolor under prolonged direct heat. It remains one of the most popular countertop materials for its balance of beauty and practicality.
